Duties and Responsibilities of a Debtor in a Chapter 7 and Attendance at the 341 Meeting of Creditors
In either a personal or corporate bankruptcy, the Debtor (or its representative(s)) has ongoing legal obligations to the Trustee, the creditors and to the Bankruptcy Court. Failure to fulfill the obligations can result in a denial of discharge, revocation of discharge or criminal prosecution.
